Why Can’t Christians Thank God AND the Doctors Who Treat Their Illnesses?
Gratitude doesn’t have to be limited.
Sheng-Ta Tsai is angry about something he observes about Christians: They are “jerks” guilty of “misplaced gratitude.”
“Around four years ago, I started noticing something interesting: when Christians talk about recovering from serious illnesses or injuries, they only seem to give thanks to God, leaving out the doctors and paramedics who actually helped them. This trend has been consistent in my observations over the past few years, and honestly, it pisses me off.”

I mean no disrespect but Sheng is often “pissed” or angry about something related to Christians or Christianity. This is the case with many writers on Medium who write about Christianity. Medium is full of attack pieces on Christianity, and I doubt that will change anytime soon.
I could say that this “pisses me off,” and that is sometimes the case. But, mostly, it just makes me sad.
Some people need a new hobby.
This particular charge (and you can read the piece in full here) — that Christians give thanks to God for getting them through health…
