There are so many things I want to say in response to this. But I'd be typing for hours.

Let me affirm you as a brother in Christ and salute your heart, character, and intentions.

It's your logic that I have issues with.

Many issues.

And... the implications of your argument.

The implications of your argument (if taken to its logical end) completely undermines Matthew 22:21 as well as Romans 13:1-7. And...

It would leave our nation (really any nation-state, but I'll speak as a fellow American) helpless in the face of threat or danger.

Your argument (again, if taken to its logical end) would mean that it's wrong for Christians to take an oath to the Constitution. That removes all Christians from public office, our military, and our law enforcement. And a lot of government entities frankly.

Let's just hope people don't take your argument to its logical end. Let's hope most people don't buy it at all.
