I can't speak to your personal experiences. As I said in my article, I understand many people suffered under abusive, toxic, or dysfunctional parents. And I will be doing a follow-up on that.

My only point is that, as a general rule, people should let go of bitterness and look for the good in others -- and that especially is true (I believe) with parents.

As to whether that's "easy" for me to say.... the important question is ...
