Thank you, Shirley. I agree there is disagreement between people of good will when it comes to religion in general and Christianity in particular.

I'm completely fine with everyone acknowledging that not all truth is knowable, and that some things are therefore in the trust or faith category. And not everyone is going make the same trust/faith decisions. That's okay. That's freedom. And we all need to be kind and charitable to each other.

What bothers me (and this isn't really from you :-) ) are the continual attacks on this platform toward people (like me) who do believe in God and who do trust that the Bible is a reliable compilation of written documents that reflect His revelation. On top of that, the smugness and bitterness that often accompanies those attacks. :-( (Again, not from you).

Anyway, I appreciate it when you comment. Even though we differ on some things, iron sharpens iron.
