“Sure, Brian. You’ve never personally molested a single young girl at your church. But how have you reacted to girls who have said they were molested, or to their families, or the people who worked hard to cover up the crimes?”

You crossed a line here. You are insinuating that I (you named me) have ignored girls who have been molested and have covered up the crimes of the perpetrators. How dare you say that! That is basically libel. 😡

At the church I serve at, we take the protection of our children seriously. We usually have police on the grounds during our services and activities. All of our children’s workers and staff are background checked. We have volunteers patrolling the halls to make sure everyone is safe. We have two unrelated adults in with minors in any class or activity.

Do the kinds of things you are taking about happen in some churches? Yes. Do they happen in all churches? NO! Not even in most churches.

But if you are just going to scoff and hurl out baseless and personal accusations, I am done.
