Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) is underway and the tech giant has announced one of its coolest upcoming AI features: “SmartScript.”
The upcoming iPadOS 18 feature purports to enhance your handwriting experience when using an Apple Pencil in the Notes app.
According to Apple, Smart Script aims to make your handwritten notes look more refined and orderly. This feature leverages on-device machine learning to transform your natural handwriting into a neater version as you write. The result, Apple says, will be a smoother and more legible reproduction of your own writing.
