No offense intended. But this doesn’t make sense….not even grammatically. And it certainly doesn’t, in any way, rebut my central point from the article I wrote (which, it seems, you never read).
I am simply proposing this…
If God is real, miracles are possible.
Your response is based on the unproven and unsubstantiated assertion that the term “miracle” is synonymous with “random.” Your contention — again, totally unproven — is that a miracle is nothing more than a random act or occurrence.
I don’t accept your definition of the word “miracle.” Neither does Merriam-Webster. Nor do the vast majority of the human race either.
But setting aside that silly back-and-forth (it’s pointless to debate assertions without evidence)…
My contention is…
If God is real, then interventions by God into the naturalistic world are likely.
Therefore, it makes complete sense for people who believe in God to believe in miracles.
Now, if you don’t believe in God or any kind of Higher Power…. Okay. That is your prerogative.
