My Top 10 All-Time Favorite Films

Counting down the most enjoyable movies ever made — at least in my opinion

Ranking the best movies of all time is certainly not an easy task, and I make no claim that this list somehow represents a wholly objective take on cinema history.

These are my favorite movies. Your list may be different. And I would love to read some of your choices in the comments.

I based my list on the following questions:

• Which movies impacted me the most?
• Which films truly immersed me in the story and kept me engaged throughout?
• What movies offered the best all-around quality experience (script, acting, cinematography, effects, etc.) for their time?
• Which films conveyed an overall positive theme or message (or at least nuggets of wisdom and/or inspiration throughout)?
• What movies have I watched over-and-over and yet enjoy them each time I see them?

It should be noted that I’m not necessarily endorsing every single element of content in the film. Some of these films contain scenes or language that I do not personally approve of, but I can still appreciate the film overall as an enjoyable experience.
