“Miracle is the religious term for random.”
That’s an assertion without any substantiation. I used Merriam-Webster’s definition for miracle in my article, but it seems you are responding more to my title than the article - if you even read it.
“Odd a poem is written and 2000 years later it's a reductive science text.”
As anyone with any familiarity of the Bible knows, it’s a collection of ancient texts - not all of them fit in the genre of poetry.
My article, though, isn’t really focused on the Bible per se. I am simply making the point that IF God is real, then the supernatural is real and divine intervention is possible.
It seems clear (to me) that you don’t believe in God. Fine. That is your prerogative. And, since you don’t believe in God, you reject the supernatural and see reality as completely within a naturalistic framework. Very well. That’s your right.
But if you are incorrect, then … miracles (as defined by Merriam-Webster) are possible.
And if you are ruling out the possibility that you’re ever incorrect, then … well… there’s little more I can say.
All the best to you.
