Kate Winslet Sets a Great Example of Kindness and Encouragement
We need more of this!
In a world full of anger and division, it’s refreshing to read of a small, but meaningful, act of kindness. And that’s why a video of actress Kate Winslet showing such kindness is going viral.
During the promotional tour for her new movie Avatar: The Way of Water, Kate Winslet sat down with a young, first-time interviewer and did something that quickly gained traction on social media.
The interviewer, Martha, was sitting down with Winslet for the German TV channel ZDF when she confessed it was her first time. Winslet then stopped the interview and moved closer to Martha to provide her with some supportive words.
“This is your first time doing it?” Winslet asked. “Ok, well guess what? When we do this interview, it’s going to be the most amazing interview ever. And do you know why? Because we’ve decided that it’s going to be. So, we’ve decided right now, me and you, that this is going to be a really fantastic interview.”
