Jesus Dying On The Cross Wasn’t Impressive?

If that’s how you feel, maybe you should try being crucified

In yet another hit piece against Christians and all things that they believe in (there are so many on Medium that I lose count), an anti-Christian writer proclaims that “Jesus dying on the cross wasn’t impressive.” In fact, that was the title.

I don’t even know where to begin with this.

Her article is all over the place — mocking Christians for being moved by the crucifixion, sneering at the Bible’s explanation for Jesus’ sacrifice, and then associating Jesus’ crucifixion with pagan myths. And on and on.

Well, for those who have bought into the nonsense that Jesus is nothing more than a myth conjured up by the early church…

I don’t think anything I say will dissuade you from that position because you clearly are not open to facts or reason. So… I wish you the best.

For those who have at least somewhat of an open mind…

Almost all serious scholars of antiquity know Jesus existed. He was not a myth. Here’s non-Christian New Testament period historian Bart Ehrman:
