That Christianity is a “white people’s religion” (or “white religion” or “white man’s religion”) is an attack on Christians that continues to rear its ugly head. In fact, it just reared its head in an anti-Christian smear piece recently published on Medium.

There are a lot of incorrect and unfair things Lilith writes in her attack piece, but I will content myself to focus primarily on this point:

“Christianity is a religion primarily practiced and preached by white people.”

After this absurd statement, she makes another one: “Europeans invented the religion through the Roman Empire and Constantine, then forced the religion across the world.”

I mean…Wow. Just wow.

Forgive me for stating the painfully obvious, but Constantine began his reign in the fourth century (specifically AD or CE 306). Christ, you know the guy who actually “invented” Christianity, lived in the first century.
