If you have religious freedom, you're going to have religious communities that believe all kinds of things - including various things being sin or not sin. That's the price of freedom.

Personally, I would never - and have never - told anyone that God rejects them for who they are. But I believe churches, mosques, synagogues, and other faith communities have a right to their religioius beliefs and convictions -- including those I disagree with.
