If a person is seeking to undermine the truth of a religion (be it Christianity, Hinduism, Judaism, etc) over this issue of origins, then...yes...that is in effect what such a person is saying.

The origins argument against religion (which you seem to be making) is a fallacious argument.

Now, if you're NOT making such a point and you're just curious and want to get to know better where people of faith are coming from.... okay, great. No problem.
