I don’t know how many times I have to say in my articles that I support everyone’s freedom of thought and conscience.
But when people make moral judgments about Christians, the Bible, etc… if it is just an subjective assessment, then it carries no more weight than someone else’s subjective assessment or opinion.
As for me, I am not judging God to be wrong or the Bible to be evil. I am simply admitting that there are parts of the Bible that I (from the standpoint of my own subjective feelings) find uncomfortable or off-putting. That is not enough for me to conclude the Bible is wrong.
