I believe the Bible IS clear on many things, and you're too casual in dismissing what CS Lewis termed "mere Christianity." There are some core fundamentals that most self-identified, Bible-believing Christians will agree on. Want to know what those core tenets are, look to the Apostles Creed and Nicene Creed.
