I appreciate everyone's comments on this article. Let me try to respond to most of the questions, issues, concerns with this post.

First, some people interpret this opening as an attack. I acknowledge it's a bold opening statement. But I'm not attacking anyone personally in saying this. And I stand by my words.

Hate is wrong. Period.

And I apply that across the board....

Some of you have defended your negative views of Christians and Christianity based on much of what you've experienced or observed. As I said in this article....

I'm not talking about criticism or accountability. No person, group, community, tribe, religion, or country should be above criticism or accountability. If a Christian does something outrageous, call out that Christian. No problem. I never said otherwise.

Some of you seem to question whether I personally have called out Christians for some of their antics. Well, if you take the time to peruse some of my other articles on this platform, you know I have.

The bottom line is I'm against bigotry and hate... Period. And I have said so - and will continue to say so -- and do so without apology.

It just so happens, however, that on THIS platform (Medium) I've seen Christians on the receiving end of hate and bigotry much more so than is deserved. The hatred that is directed against Christians here on Medium is excessive and often unhinged. And I'm not wrong to call it out.

All the best to everyone who took the time to comment.
