I agree that people should come forward with their stories and experiences. I believe in accountability even if it's only one situation or one story.

And I absolutely agree that multiple witnesses testifying to similar experiences is extremely credible and demands society's attention.

There have been enough airplane disasters and mishaps to justify our attention and suitable regulations and accountability, but NOT enough to reasonably conclude that air travel is always or most of the time unsafe.

I feel the same way about police and priests (or pastors). Enough episodes of misconduct to warrant concern and measures for accountability? Absolutely. Enough to conclude that all or most police officers or religious leaders are suspect or probably bad? Absolutely not.
