Hi Robert,
You and others who make the genetic fallacy argument against theism ignore the fact that people (while they are certainly influenced by their parental and cultural upbringing) do have intellectual agency. They are able to consider beliefs outside of their orbit. They are able to rethink and reevaluate their beliefs.
What's more, you’re demanding “scientific, repeatably provable evidence" for God.
That’s a category error. The scientific method is designed to study natural phenomena. God, by definition, is supernatural—outside and above the system.
Besides, the scientific method isn't the only game in town when it comes to evidence.
There is philosophical, historical, experiential, and even mathematical reasoning that can support theism. You may not find it compelling—but that doesn’t mean it isn’t evidence. It just means your criteria exclude it.
Anyway, I want nothing but the best for you.
All the Best,
Brian
