I was referring to Medium specifically and, in one statement, included social media. But my focus was on Medium. On Medium, discussions regarding politics and religion degenerate quickly to hateful rants, name-callling, accusations, etc. It's sad.

And, yes, on Medium, theologically conservative or moderate Christians seem to be a minority. And, on Medium, Christians are attacked routinely and most often unfairly. As to me being hurt or upset, I'm fine. :-) It's just tiresome.

As to my response being "disingenuous," I said at the outset that I didn't have the time to respond to all your article. I didn't and I don't. You may not like my response. Fine. You may not agree with my response. Fine. But to say that it's disingenuous is yet another example of the decline of quality discourse on this platform.

I'll follow up with a short article that addresses the particular point you're accusing me of dodging. I don't think I dodged it, but fine. I'll address it very clearly in my follow up piece. I know it won't be sufficient or satisfactory for you. I have no illusions that you will respect what I say or be persuaded by it, but I'll respond nonetheless.
