Just to clarify... most of my critique wasn't directed at people who have thoughtfully engaged Christianity and come away with beliefs different from my own.

I was speaking of those who made quick judgments without engaging the facts --- a tendency of course that is all too prevalent these days.

And I was speaking of those who are more apt to sneer, mock, or disparage rather than honestly and conscientiously engage in discussion. Clearly, based on your response, that is not you.

Obviously, my article can't address everything. :-)

I'm happy to, in future pieces, attempt to address some of your points in a manner that might better meet your satisfaction.
