First, my questions were worded with brevity in mind. I was not intentionally imposing any kind of limitation or false dilemma. You seem to be making the case that God, if He is indeed loving, would allow free will only within certain parameters. I would argue this is arguably the case but the debate that will follow is a dispute over those parameters.
