While I think it's shallow 'logic' for people (like Mayor Adams) to draw a direct line between school prayer and gun violence...

I think some important studies and conversations should take place on whether religion supports virtue (as George Washington believed) and if more virtue (at all levels of society) would decrease violence.

I would like to see people like you and people like Mayor Adams sit down and explore this seriously and good faith. More of us need to sit down and talk things through. We'd get a whole lot more done that way.
