Do You Have Multiple Interest (or Niche) Disorder? I Do.

And this is a “disorder” many writers (and entrepreneurs) face

You’ve heard of multiple personality disorder — which is now called “disassociative identity disorder.” And it’s certainly no laughing matter. My genuine thoughts and prayers go out to all those who struggle with it and who have loved ones who struggle with it.

I don’t believe I have that particular struggle, but I do have another problem — one that could perhaps (lightly) be called a “disorder” in that it’s a real struggle to “order” my thoughts to zero in on one or two niches.

And for many experts in writing, publishing, business, marketing, branding, etc…. that is a serious problem.

The root of that problem?

I have multiple interests.

I don’t have one niche that I focus on in my writing. I have many interests and my articles span a number of topics.

And I’ve been this way for years.

If you follow my writing here on Medium, you know that I write on religion, ministry, personal development, people skills, public speaking, politics, and technology. I also give book recommendations and write about gaming as well as offer a few fantasy and science fiction reviews.
