Christians Love When Humans Suffer? Seriously!?
My Response to Yet Another Bigoted Anti-Christian Hit Piece
In yet another anti-Christian hit piece here on Medium (there are many), a notorious anti-Christian bigot accuses Christians of loving and benefiting from the suffering of human beings.
Some people are so bitter, so angry, and so hateful that no amount of facts or reason will dissuade them from their malice or antagonism. That’s certainly the case with many anti-Christian writers here on Medium.
For those with at least somewhat of an open mind, let me offer the following…
There is no virtue in hatred or the spewing of contempt.
If you come across a writer who continually pours out venom and disgust toward a particular group of people (whether that group of people be Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, gay, straight, trans … whatever), chances are you have discovered a writer who needs therapy — not serious attention to her opinions.
Be that as it may…
The allegation that Christians (as a whole) enjoy, desire, and/or intentionally support human suffering belongs in the category of baseless defamation.
Obviously, I’m all for holding people accountable who actually do cause suffering —…
