These things DID "massively spread" and have been "documented." It's just that atheists, agnostics, and anti-Christian pontificators don't accept any of that, which is their perogative.

All Dan is trying to establish with this particular article is that, whatever your beliefs may be about Christianity, Jesus of Nazareth was a historical figure. At the very least, he was that. THAT is Dan's point and it's not hypocrisy.
