Be Love-Driven, Not Anger-Driven

Make the choice everyone should make

Life’s hard enough without all the outrage and the hate.

Be a beacon of love, positivity, and hope.

Choose to love, not hate. And choose to inspire and uplift, not beat other people down.

Yes, there’s pain in the world. Injustice. Frustration. And yes — there are times to speak out, to take a stand, to be bold for what’s right.

But we can’t live in outrage. We can’t live on high alert.

I grew up watching Star Trek — the old classic series. And, when the Enterprise was in danger, they would go to Red Alert. But they didn’t operate on Red Alert all the time. It would’ve exhausted the crew and been completely counter-productive to their effectiveness and efficiency.

We weren’t made to live at Red Alert status all the time. We weren’t meant to be constantly angry, constantly offended, constantly on edge.

You were made for more than that.

What if today… you looked for what’s right with the world instead of what’s wrong? What if you saw beauty in the sunrise, in a kind word, in someone’s smile?

What if you assumed the best about that co-worker instead of the worst?
