Attention Everyone! Look at What This Crazy Christian Did (or Said)!

I mean, how can anyone be a Christian now…right!?

Almost every single day, there’s another Medium story attacking Christians. The bashing of Christians here on Medium is commonplace, tiresome, and often downright ridiculous.

I mean, some writers (and readers) clearly need a new hobby.

Much of the anti-Christian vitriol on Medium could be classified as something along these lines:

• Look what this crazy church did!
• Can you believe this Christian school has that in its policies!?
• Look at what this insane pastor said on Sunday!
• Look at this vile tweet from a Christian!
• You know…that author (or pastor or speaker) that so many Christians liked…yeah, he was not a good person!

And so forth!

So many articles come down to apoplectic expressions of outrage over something objectionable or controversial that Evangelical X or Bible-believing Christian Y said or did.

It’s as if we’re supposed to toss out the Bible, forget two thousand years of Christian history, and turn our backs on our churches and our entire prayer lives, all because…
