Dive into the AI Art Revolution
In the fall of last year, I got hooked on AI art. I started with Graiphics software and had a ball playing around with it. Moved onto other platforms shortly thereafter — including Jasper, Mage.Space, DALL-E, and MidJourney. It’s been a blast!
For the unitiated, AI art is all about making (well) “art” via computer programs — specifically, artificial intelligence. And that’s what AI stands for — artificial intelligence. Get it? :-)
AI art is a way for people to produce high quality artwork even if they have zero artistic talent or experience. And this is something that real artists are understandably not happy about it.
AI art is digital art. It involves (at least as of now) no physical paintbrushes, pens, markers, or pencils. It’s all digital. You can make physical prints from the AI art, but that’s after the fact. The production is all digital.
Of course, I imagine that we’re only a few years away from physical robots…
